Kai is 19!

As I reflect on the past 19 years of Kai's life I am filled with gratitude. Many times throughout his childhood I was asked by people what his plans are after he's finished school - because of his limited options - and I could very confidently and without a hint of anxiety answer "I don't know". I think they were more anxious than I ever was LOL! But when the time came for him to complete his schooling, the answer actually came to us in the form of his school's occupational therapist and her friend. Elsa and Adrie was the amazing duo who became the answer to our prayers. And now as we celebrate his 19th year on earth, I can reflect on it as an absolute pleasure being on this journey of life with my boy - regardless of the challenges - and I look forward to the next few decades with this superhero!
